Annual Meeting Notice

December 13, 2011

Deer Creek Reserve homeowners,

ANNOUNCEMENT:
Our annual meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 6:30PM in the large meeting room of the Richfield Branch of the Akron-Summit County Public Library, located at 3761 S. Grant St. Richfield, Ohio. Grant Street is located across from the Richfield Post Office branch.

A major goal of ours for 2012 is to improve timely communications between the Board and Deer Creek residents, as well as providing a forum for residents to offer ideas, comments and announcements such as neighborhood gatherings. To that end, we are in the process of updating the Home Owners’ Association (HOA) website, DeerCreekReserve.com, with a link to recent Board announcements and information regarding the operation of our development. When you see the “Important Information” signs posted at each entrance, please go to the website for announcements from the HOA Board. We will discuss the use of the website at the meeting.

In addition to the normal maintenance expenditures made each year, we have compiled a listing (attached) of various projects which we feel would help to improve our community and maintain property values throughout Deer Creek Reserve. If you have ideas for additional improvements, we encourage you to contact us prior to January 1, 2012 so that your ideas can be incorporated into the January 10th agenda. The meeting will include a discussion of these projects and their associated costs in addition to the current annual HOA dues of $300.

In order to maintain the most current contact information for our homeowners, we ask that you please email the following information to our HOA Board member, Phil Allen.

You may have noticed signs in our neighborhood asking you to go to our HOA web site to view important information.  We would like you to download and review the Deer Creek HOA Bylaws, which you can access by clicking on the following link:Deer Creek HOA Bylaws.

The bylaws haven’t changed since they were established in 1998.  However the HOA Board is required to periodically review them with the residents of Deer Creek.  The signs and this web site are being used to re-present the bylaws to the Deer Creek residents.  This is the “important information” for you to review.

HOA Annual Meeting

December 1, 2010

Our Deer Creek HOA Annual Meeting is December 1, 2010, 7:00PM in the Furnace Run Park Brushwood pavilion, located on 4955 Townsend Rd.

We need to vote for two new Board Members and a Treasurer. Failure to fill these vacant positions with current homeowners will force the Board to hire a professional management company, which will lead to significantly higher HOA dues.
